Matric Dance 2007

Sayonara, Grade 12s!

West met East as the 2007 matriculants celebrated the culmination of twelve years’ schooling at their Matric dance. Held in the Emnotweni Arena, the minimalist Japanese décor epitomized oriental style.

In true Uplands tradition, the modes of transport ranged from original to glamorous to just downright fun. The young ladies sparkled in their elegantly beautiful dresses; the young gentlemen were not to be outdone and, dressed to the hilt, or as Jimmy Vincent dared - kilt, exuded charm in their finery.

Highlights of the evening were the visual presentation of ‘then’ and ‘now’ photos and the presentation by the Dance Committee of 2007.
