Matric
Dance 2008
The
Uplands College Matric Dance
took place on 19 of September
in the Uplands College Hall.
There were arrivals at dusk,
cocktails at sunset and dinner
and dancing by nightfall. The
theme and setting of this year’s
Matric Dance, “A Twilight
Affair”, was one that
captivated all and stunned the
Matrics as to how magnificently
the school hall could be transformed.
The star ridden ‘sky’
underneath which we dined, highlighted
the true beauty and elegance
of the real stars of the night,
the Matrics of 2008. They were
a picturesque sight in their
fine designs and swanky arrivals,
true young adults that will
make us proud when they venture
off on their new adventures.
The fun filled evening with
fine dining, dancing and exuberant
speeches made for a memory never
to be forgotten.
