Drama
Drama is an activity
offered in Terms I and IV of
the school year. This activity
is open to all who are interested
and aims to teach basic skills
and crafts such as characterisation,
mime, scriptwriting, direction
and staging and sometimes make-up
and prop building. The technical
skills of sound and lighting
are also taught to those who
are interested.
These
skills are utilised in the Senior
and Junior House plays, which
occur annually and are drawn
upon when directing the Major
Production in the third
term of every year. It is a
fun and creative way to build
confidence and creativity.
Uplands
College also has an active Drama
Department.
