Uplands pupils are able to enjoy stabling their own horses and having riding lessons on campus in the afternoon programme.

Uplands Equestrian Centre, which enhances the country feel of our campus, consists of a free jumping arena, a show jumping arena and dressage arena (under construction), lunging rings, 24 stables, individual and large group paddocks with grazing, water and plenty of shade.

The barn has spacious stable kept in excellent condition for pupils wanting to stable their horses on campus.

The riding school has school ponies & horses available for pupils to use. The equestrian centre also has their own horses which are available for lease at very competitive rates (fee structure).

The Uplands Equestrian Centre caters for novice and experienced riders and offer instruction in the following disciplines: show-jumping, showing, dressage, equitation and eventing. Outrides can also be arranged.

Schooling of ponies and horses as well as the running operation of the equestrian centre is done under the management of Christine Gauntlett, her contact number is: 083 6544 326.

All group lessons and private lessons can be arranged with Christine, who has various instructors available to instruct at specific levels.
