Uplands hosted Sybrand van Niekerk on 20 May 2008. It was almost a clean sweep. The Netball teams made amends after a rather disappointing performance against Barberton and the Hockey girls had a very successful afternoon. The 1st Rugby team was in devastating form and ran in 10 tries. It was an ideal opportunity to give some of the senior players a rest which meant that a total of six Grade 10 boys played for the 1st team. Thabo Khoza scored three tries and Neil Brokensha contributed 24 points with two tries and seven conversions.
