Uplands College
are proud to announce the new
mentors and leaders for 2009.
Amy
Vieler (Head Girl) joined the
College in Gr 8 from St Katharine’s
in Johannesburg, Stefan Veldsman
(Head Boy) joined the College
in Gr 8 from Summerhill Prep in
Hazyview, Ashleigh Austin (Deputy
Head Girl) joined the College
in Gr 8 from Chisipite Senior
School in Zimbabwe, Nicholas Wood
joined the College in Gr 8 from
Uplands Prep School.
Their
team of mentors are: Dimakatjo
Thobejane, Steven Ward, Kelsey
Matus, Kevin Addison, Ashleigh
Gulle, Richard Buchanan, Fiona
Lourens, Kyle De Almeida, Goasitwe
Matsei, Ewald Nel, Serina Park
and Thabang Pebane.
We
know this group of mentors make
a difference in terms of their
leadership and mentoring. We have
no doubt that this year’s
Gr 11 group will take Uplands
to new levels in 2009. They are
enthusiastic, supportive and a
cohesive group.
