Interhouse
Athletics 2009
The
rain over the past few weeks has caused
havoc. It has forced us to constantly
‘micro-manage’ various activities
being affected by the weather. The Inter-House
Athletics Meeting had to be postponed
due to a waterlogged track and the event
finally took place on Tuesday, 28 January.
Once again, it was a closely contested
affair. The spirit and the enthusiasm
were absolutely marvellous. Founders
House redeemed themselves after
coming stone last at the Inter-House
swimming Gala. College House
was in second place, four points adrift
and Bishop House third.
The
individual winners were:
Congratulations and well done.
The
staff relay race was one of the highlights.
To see Dr. Walker in full flight was
‘poetry in motion…’
