The
Uplands Annual Honours Function
was held on 19 October 2006, during
which the achievements of pupils
were acknowledged and celebrated.
Uplands College is on the map, mainly
due to the three pillars of strength:
pupils, parents and staff. Mr Martin
Dreyer, a past pupil of the Prep
and current champion of the Millenium
Big 5 Challenge, was the guest speaker.
He spoke about the importance of
preparation, resilience and setting
goals.

Sixteen
mentors have been appointed for
2007. It was also decided to appoint
a Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head
Girl for the first time. We believe
the time has come for the College
management to introduce this leadership
structure to afford more people
the opportunity to excel as leaders. |
