On
23 June 2007 the past pupils' hockey
matches took place. It was fantastic
to see so many past pupils back at the
College, as well as some past parents
and staff. Over 100 pupils attended
the hockey and dinner on the Saturday
night, with Dave Lovatt entertaining
them with stories and memories from
the early years at the College.
The
hockey on Saturday afternoon, played
in a festive spirit, was nevertheless
competitive. The old boys were no match
for this year's team and Uplands First
Team won comfortably. Hopefully the
old boys will put together a more competitive
team next year and give the school a
run for their money. The
girls' game, however, was a totally
different scenario, with the old girls
making history by defeating the school
for the first time. The day was most
enjoyable and certainly one to remember.
