The Uplands College PTA is an active group of parents and staff members whose sole purpose is to raise funds for various projects at school, as well as for charity organisations. The PTA hosts numerous functions during the year to achieve these goals.

The previous Uplands Festival took place in May 2008 with theatre from all around the country gracing our floorboards. We had a magnificent food hall and beer marquee doing roaring trade throughout the festival.

The PTA also has its work cut out on the derby days hosted on campus, where it runs the tuckshop. Other fundraising functions are the Matric Dance Fashion Extravaganza, a premier movie evening at Casterbridge and an annual golf day. We were proud to support another Major Production with supper and a bar. As always, the production was great fun and well attended.
